About Me

As the founder of Restoration Therapies, I practice and pursue modalities that work closely with the body~mind connection including therapeutic treatments, coaching sessions, and educational courses focused on nutrition, somatic awareness, bodywork, training, and coaching. I am an instructor of bodywork therapies and have writte on specialized techniques relevant to improving structural comfort, pain relief, and restorative relaxation.

In addition to holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I am a graduate of the Lakeside School of Massage Therapy (2000) in Milwaukee and a Certified Teacher of Unified Body Method™(2013), a somatic movement and therapy approach. UBM™ teaches us how to discover embodied wisdom, integrate subtle movements, and restore balance. I am also a brand partner with Purium, an organic superfoods company that provides plant-based nutrition that transforms lifestyles, the gut microbiome, energy, and mental clarity.

Working closely with referrals from doctors, chiropractors, and other therapists, I am able to help those who suffer from chronic and acute pain as well as those who seek relief from the stress and tensions of daily life.  I also use and teach about the benefits of therapeutic superfoods as well as medicinal-grade essential oils and have introduced them as a healing complement to traditional bodywork.
